l The campus is nested among the beautiful rolling hills of Pennsylvania's Huntingdon county in a setting of immense natural beauty. The town of Huntingdon boasts a close-knit and safe community with a history of good relations with the college and its students. Similarly the campus itself provides a secure and safe environment for the students. The Juniata College Department of Police and Security commits itself to ensuring the safety of campus and students at all times, 24/7. Although the campus itself is located in a relatively small town which provides for a calm and secure environment, larger cities such as Washington, DC, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and New York city are within short driving distances from the college. Our international students often travel to these cities on trips organized by the college or on themselves. |
