2、在一個句子里，過去進(jìn)行時常與一般過去時連用，此時，進(jìn)行時表示較長的正在進(jìn)行的動作，而一般時表示較短暫的動作或事情

When she arrived, I was telephoning Harry.
When she arrived, I telephoned Harry. (到后做)
The reporter said that the UFO was traveling to west when he saw it.
3、可用while強(qiáng)調(diào)同時進(jìn)行的兩種或幾種動作
While I was working in the garden, my wife was cooking dinner.
