2013年申請獎學金的五大要素
1. 參加必要的標準化考試，并取得優(yōu)秀的語言和考試成績
優(yōu)秀的標準化考試成績是申請美國大學獎學金必不可少的因素。美國大學在評定申請人獎學金資助時，會要求申請人提供一種或幾種標準考試的成績。美國目前在中國舉行并認同的標準考試有：TOEFL/IELTS、SAT、GRE、GMAT、LSAT和TSE。
美國留學專家建議：參加標準化考試的時間越早越好，TOEFL有效期為2年，最好達到106分以上。SAT的有效期為2年，申請學校的名次與成績成正比，例如TOP20的學校，成績最好達到或不低于2200。GRE、GMAT、LSAT的有效期均為5年。但要注意的是GRE、GMAT、與LSAT要力爭一炮打響，因為這些考試都有歷史記錄，ETS寄送成績時會把所有考出的成績一并寄到學校去，而學校往往會采取參看每次成績的平均分數(shù)，而非最高分數(shù)作為考慮標準。相反，TOEFL和SAT考試，只寄送最近或最好的一次考試成績即可，成績不理想可以多次參加考試直到考出理想成績?yōu)橹埂?BR> 2. “給力”的GPA成績或平均分
無論是申請本科還是碩士的學生，要想獲得獎學金，GPA的成績也是重中之重，學校非?？粗?，因此，如果您想成功申請到美國名校，并且向獲得豐厚的獎學金，美國留學專家建議：最好從高一或大一開始，不要偏科，保證每一門會出現(xiàn)在成績單上的科目成績都不低于80分或保證GPA3.0以上。當然有的專業(yè)難度系數(shù)比較高，很難達到這個標準，但考生仍然要盡力而為。
