We follow old customs.We stick red couplets beside our doors.We clean up and sweep out our houses.
Everyone returns home.Families get together.We chat and have a big feast.
People visit each other.We greet relatives and neighbors.We exchange best wishes and gifts.
Its a super time for kids.We get presents and treats.We set off fireworks,too.
Best of all are red envelopes.Theyre gifts of money.We all love them the most.
New Year is a time to give thanks.Were grateful and happy.We expect a great year ahead.
