曼徹斯特大學醫(yī)學院是英國最好的醫(yī)學院之一，其中，更以創(chuàng)辦于1884年的特納牙科學為名，是曼徹斯特醫(yī)學院的一個組成部分。曼大醫(yī)學系已有200多年歷史，每年招收200多名學生。大學教育主要培養(yǎng)學生的就診能力和處理病人關(guān)系的技能，當然也不忽視學生的理論學習，提倡吃苦耐勞精神。
