Scholarship Guideline
The graduate school provides various kinds of scholarships to graduate students. In particular, international students may receive scholarship through a special program, the Jungseok International Fellowship. Qualified students are allowed to receive scholarship covering either full or half of the tuition. In addition to this special scholarship, international students can also receive additional support through various kinds of assistantships.

Full or half tuition fee waived
In one year, the graduate school provides the full tuition for the Jungseok International Scholarship to only approximately 80 entering international students for the first semester.
The amount of scholarship for the first semester will be decided immediately after evaluation for admission. From the second semester it can be changed based on scholarship evaluation.

To achieve the Schaolarship for the first semester, it is strongly recommended to submit Certificate for Language Proficiency(TOPIK, TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS) when you apply.
Part-time students cannot receive any scholarship from the graduate school.

Duration of Jungseok International Scholarship
Students who admitted before Fall 2009 : Until obtain a degree (Master's or Doctoral)
Students who admitted after Spring 2010 :
1) Master's : Up to 4th semester
2) Doctoral : Up to 6th semester
3) Integrated : Up to 10th semester
Jungseok 國際獎學金的持續(xù)時間

Jungseok International Scholarship Evaluation(For enrolled students)
Guidelines of Jungseok International Scholarship Evaluation
There may be a change in the amount of scholarship according to the result of an evaluation in each semester. The graduate school can cease granting the Jungseok International Scholarship or reduce the amount of it according to the result of scholarship evaluation.
Every semester, the international students will be evaluated.
Evaluation for the Scholarship will be done every January and July.

① Accomplishment of study plan
If there is a change in your study plan, you should submit your academic study plan again to Graduate School Office before the evauation of each semester.
If you get below 3 points from this factor, you will not be able to receive the Jungseok International Scholarship.
② GPA in the previous semester
If your GPA is below 3.0, you will not be able to receive the Jungseok International Scholarship.
