比較文學(xué)(Comparative Literature)，是文藝學(xué)的分支，作為一門學(xué)科，興起于19世紀末和20世紀初，是一類跨文化和跨學(xué)科的文學(xué)研究，即對兩種或兩種以上民族文學(xué)之間相互作用的過程，以及文學(xué)與其他藝術(shù)門類和其他意識形態(tài)的相互關(guān)系的比較研究。
