Our MBA scholarships are designed to support talented applicants wishing to develop their skills and knowledge with the Aston MBA starting in 2017/18.

1.Early Bird
Executive MBA - £1,000
All applicants are eligible to receive a £1,000 scholarship, to receive the award you need to apply and accept your place by no later than 30 April 2017.
This scholarship can be awarded in addition to the Excellence scholarships.

At Aston we are looking for future Leaders/ Entrepreneurs to join our MBA programme. In order to be successful for this award, we will be looking for evidence that demonstrates your leadership/ entrepreneurial qualities and experience to date in your career and how this will contribute to the Aston MBA programme.
Your cover letter should include a clear description of what you see as your strengths and weaknesses and the personal attributes that set you apart from other applicants. We are also interested to hear how you believe the Aston MBA programme will help you to grow as a future leader/ entrepreneur.

In order to be considered for our regional scholarship, candidates will have to be resident of the above regions and be able to demonstrate how they can become an ambassador of the Aston MBA programme once they complete their studies.

6.Members of the Armed Forces (serving or exiting)
Up to £6,000
As a Ministry of Defence approved Education Learning Credit provider, we welcome applications from members of the armed forces. In your application for a scholarship, please state your experience to date as well as the reasons for why you want to undertake an MBA qualification. This scholarship will be awarded in addition to an ELC scholarship awarded by the MoD.

8.UK Postgraduate Loans Scheme
Value: Up to £10,000, paid in three instalments per year. Part-time loans capped at £5,000 per year.
Eligibility:
Available for UK nationals ordinarily resident in England. EU, EEA or Swiss nationals ordinarily resident in the EU, EEA or Switzerland.
For postgraduate Masters degrees in all subjects, including taught and research programmes.
Available for full-time, part-time and distance learning courses.
Full-time courses - up to two years (depending on the length of the course). Part-time courses - up to four years (equivalent to a two-year full-time course). Part-time study must be at least 50% of a full-time course.
For courses beginning on or after 1st August 2016.
Applicants must be under 60, without existing qualifications at Masters-level or above.
Administration: Loans will be issued and managed by the Student Loans Company.

9.AMBA Scholarship
To celebrate its 50th anniversary, AMBA is donating US $50,000 worth of scholarships, to be shared between six talented individuals, about to start an MBA programme at an AMBA-accredited Business School.
Am I eligible?
Applicants wishing to apply for one of the Aston MBA scholarships must meet the following criteria:
Full completion of an online application for the Aston MBA. it is recommended that applicants submit their scholarship application at the same time as their MBA application (see details below).
Be a self-funded candidate.
**Please note that the GREAT Britain Scholarship carries the additional geographical criteria detailed above.
How do I apply?
You will be considered for a scholarship based on the strength of your MBA application and interview. If the MBA recruitment panel believe that you meet the eligibility criteria you will automatically be awarded the scholarship.
You will be informed that you have been awarded a scholarship shortly after you receive your MBA offer.
Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis, we advised you to submit your application with all supporting documents as early as possible so you have a stronger opportunity of being awarded.
