SCHOLARSHIPS FOR UNDERGRADUATE INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
The University of Toledo offers two admission scholarships to qualified international students. You will automatically be considered for all of these awards by submitting a completed application for admission. A completed admission application includes the application for admission, all official academic transcripts, the official letter from your sponsor’s bank verifying sufficient funding, and your international English language proficiency test scores, if taken. The International Student Scholarship and Sister Cities Award may not be combined.

International Student Scholarship

Minimum Requirements: 3.0 cumulative higher education GPA at the time of admission
Who Qualifies: The International Student Scholarship is offered to new undergraduate international students who are entering the university as freshmen or as transfer students, and who have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. This scholarship is limited to full-time, non-immigrant F1 visa holders.
Students who apply directly to the American Language Institute (ALI) at The University of Toledo and students who meet the academic requirement but are referred to the ALI will be eligible for this award upon the successful completion of the ALI program. This scholarship will not be applied to any fees associated with the ALI.
Renewal Criteria: The scholarship is renewable and requires the student to maintain a 2.75 GPA and the successful completion of 27 credit hours each academic year (in the Fall and Spring semesters). Students are eligible for this award for 8 semesters or until completion of the bachelor’s degree, whichever comes first.

Who Qualifies: The Sister Cities Award is guaranteed to new undergraduate and graduate students whose permanent address is within one of the Toledo Sister Cities/Regions at the same time as application, including:
Toledo, Spain
Londrina, Brazil
Qinhuangdao, China
Szeged, Hungary
Csongrad, Hungary
Coimbatore, India
Bekaa Valley, Lebanon
Poznan, Poland
Toyohashi, Japan
Tanga, Tanzania
Delmenhorst, Germany
Hyderabad, Pakistan
Renewal Criteria: Renewal criteria requires maintaining academic eligibility to attend UT and the successful completion of 30 credit hours each academic year. Students are eligible for this award for 8 semesters or until completion of the bachelor's degree, whichever comes first.

PHI THETA KAPPA SCHOLARSHIP
Award: $1,000 per year
Minimum Requirements: 3.5 cumulative transfer GPA; proof of Phi Theta Kappa Membership
Scholarship deadline: July 1 for summer and fall 2017 semesters
This renewable award recognizes outstanding transfer students through their Phi Theta Kappa membership. The award may be given in addition to the UT Achievement Award, Transfer Out-of-State Award, or Prestige Transfer Scholarship.
In addition to proof of Phi Theta Kappa membership, you must also submit, prior to the deadline, a completed and signed UT application for admission, official high school transcripts or official GED scores, and official transcripts from all previous institutions attended.
Semesters of Eligibility for Undergraduate Transfer Admission Scholarships and Awards
The maximum length of UT's admission scholarship is based on your cumulative transfer GPA credit hours and cannot exceed the completion of an undergraduate degree.

Renewal Criteria:
Renewal criteria includes maintaining a 2.75 cumulative GPA and earning 27 UT credit hours within two semesters of the academic year. For students who do not meet these requirements, UT maintains an appeal process which is detailed in the full terms and conditions.
General Scholarship/Award Policies
All admission scholarships are based on your cumulative transfer GPA and credit hours, which are figured from all regionally accredited institutions that you have previously attended.
To be eligible for admission scholarships, transfer students who have previously attended UT must have a minimum 2.0 UT GPA.
Undergraduates with baccalaureate degrees are not eligible to receive admission scholarships.
三、皮埃塔卡帕獎學金
