【教授舉例】：教授舉了一個例子。他曾worked in an advertisement agency as a consultant。為一個car business market一款專為在郊區(qū)生活的人設(shè)計的car。一開始銷售狀況不好。后來商家做研究。研究表明消費(fèi)者最看gas mileage。Commuters(住在郊區(qū)要開車進(jìn)城上班的群體)need cars which can save more gas。所以廣告公司就這樣設(shè)計廣告：讓一個人一路微笑地with a big smile on face開著這個牌子的車從suburban到city，駛過一個個加油站gas station旁呼嘯而過。路過的每個station里都有很多人排隊等待加油。廣告末尾：your spend money on gas。這則廣告說明開這種車很省油。結(jié)果，這種car成功地在兩年里銷量tripled了。
