Caidiao Opera is an opera genre popular in south China, and is often accompanied by the lining word of "Naheyihehai" in its singing. This opera is widely distributed and each area has its own name for it, among which "Diaozi Opera" and "Caicha Opera" are most frequently used. In the plays of Caidiao Opera, the subjects of work, love and family life are mostly covered. During the performance, the Guiliu dialect is used to sing. Therefore, this opera is characterized by its interesting content and vivid forms. In 2006, Caidiao Opera was included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
