Never seek to tell thy love ,
千萬不要傾訴你的愛，
Love that never told can be ;
愛只能深藏在心中;
For the gentle wind doth move
因為和風吹拂時
Silently , invisibly .
總是悄無聲息、無影無蹤。
I told my love , I told my love ,
我傾訴了我的愛，我傾訴了我的愛，
I told her all my heart ;
我向她敞開了全部胸懷;
Termbling , cold , in ghastly fears ,
我顫抖、冰涼、恐懼異常，
Ah ! She doth depart .
可她呢，她竟然走開!
Soon as she was gone from me ,
她從我這兒離去不久，
A traveler came by ,
一位游客便來到她身邊，
Silently , invisibly ;
悄無聲息、無影無蹤，
He took her with a sign .
把她帶走只憑一聲嘆息。
