“芬蘭希望能把2010年的世博會展館‘冰壺’永遠地留在上海?！?009年3月下旬的一天，芬蘭還是一片冰天雪地，上海世博會芬蘭參展組委會宣媒與文化總監(jiān)溥明睿在位于首都赫爾辛基的辦公室說。他身前的桌子上放著一個“冰壺”模型，是一個白色的圓形建筑，就像一團冰雪，沒有一扇窗戶。
“冰壺”將是一座浮在水面上的微型島嶼城市，有20米高、60米長，上下三層，總造價預計為1400萬歐元，75%由芬蘭政府撥款，25%來自合作企業(yè)和機構。芬蘭參加上海世博會的主題是“靈感分享”，曾經留學復旦大學的溥明睿說，這主要指分享設計靈感。比如，“冰壺”雖然沒有一扇窗戶，里面卻一點也不悶，因為它有一個大大的天窗，參觀者在里面一抬頭就可以看到天空?！氨鶋亍钡膱A形設計還可以確保不發(fā)生擁堵，“參觀者繞著展廳參觀，一圈看完了，剛好又來到離開的樓梯?！?BR> 芬蘭工商業(yè)聯(lián)盟的首席經濟師JussiMustonen認為，設計給芬蘭帶來手機、郵輪等高新技術產業(yè)和大量的就業(yè)機會。設計在芬蘭隨處可見，包括普通家庭使用的玻璃器皿、紡織品、廚房用具等，這些產品都遵循著芬蘭設計的理念——“一件產品不僅是好看的，還應該是好用的”。
在“冰壺”里，參觀者還可觀看、購買芬蘭設計的代表——包括Marimekko公司色彩繽紛的服裝和提包，F(xiàn)iskars公司精致實用的剪刀、斧頭和餐具，Iittala公司簡潔優(yōu)雅的玻璃器皿和廚房用具……這些產品簡潔得接近樸素，卻又是美麗和實用的結合，就像大家熟悉的芬蘭諾基亞手機一樣。
“冰壺”將建在上海世博園盧浦大橋旁邊。按照國際法規(guī)和世博會慣例，世博會上的外國展館都不是永久性的，其產權都屬于建造方。不過，在剛剛結束的中國“兩會”上，優(yōu)秀的世博展館能否永久留在上海，成為一個焦點話題。
對此，溥明睿說，他們已經了解到上海人民希望永久留下一些優(yōu)秀展館的要求，“冰壺”可以分解并重新組裝，芬蘭也希望能把“冰壺”永遠留在上海，“我們已經在尋找買家，希望建筑面積3000平方米的‘冰壺’能以酒店、展館、高爾夫球俱樂部等形式，永久地留在上海?！?BR> Last year Finland will attempt to capture the ideas of freedom, creativity, innovation, community, health and nature in its pavilion and exhibition. Finnish people believe the six elements compose "the beautiful life," said Pertti Huitu, Finland’s commissioner general for the Expo. The country’s exhibit will be based on the theme "Sharing Inspiration," promoting ideas on how to improve people’s living standards. Kirnu also means an exchange of ideas, and Finland welcomes suggestions for a better life from the world, Huitu said. The pavilion will be built on a 3,000-square-meter plot. The three-story building, which will include a restaurant serving Finnish food, will look like a huge white bowl and will be surrounded by a lake. The "bowl" will appear to be floating on the water, said chief designer Teemu Kurkela. Visitors will be able to do some sky watching at the pavilion, as it will be an open-air structure, with a covering for rainy days. Kurkela said he wanted to give visitors the relaxing feeling of lying on an island and watching the sky.
