誰都不愿被別人擺布，那么就“己所不欲，勿施于人”了。今天我們來學(xué)幾個(gè)“擺布”的表達(dá)。
1. Push around
這個(gè)可能是大家最常見的一個(gè)，在很多美劇中都有跳出來過，它的意思就是“擺布，操控”，例如： Don‘t try to push me around! 別想擺布我！
它還有“Treat or threaten to treat roughly恐嚇、虐待”的意思，例如：I won't let him push me around. 我不會讓他嚇住的。
2. Boss around
這個(gè)片語的意思是“Tell someone what to do, give orders”，對別人發(fā)號施令，也是“擺布”的一種，例如：David complained that his older sister was always bossing him around. 大衛(wèi)抱怨說他姐姐總對他發(fā)號施令。
3. manipulate，exploit，maneuver
在說說幾個(gè)也有“擺布、操控”的意思，但在口語中不是特別常用的詞manipulate，exploit和maneuver。這三個(gè)詞的共同中心意思是“to influence, manage, use, or control to one's advantage by artful or indirect means通過巧妙的或間接的方式來影響、處理、利用或控制某人的優(yōu)勢”，比如：
He manipulated public opinion in his favor.
他巧妙地使公眾輿論倒向他。
To get what she wants, she even exploits her friends.
為了得到自己想要的，她甚至利用她的朋友。
They maneuvered to gain an edge over their corporate competitors.
