Nowadays in the society,there are enormous fake commodities. When you go to the supermarket,you may buy some fake products,such as medicine, tobacco, and wine.
The deep root of this phenomenon lies in people's greed for money.People who want to get a large amount of money in a short time find out that the cost of fake commodities is lower than that of genuine ones. So they try every means to produce fake commodities, without any regard for other people's interests and health.
Fake commodities can do great harm to both consumers and society. For example, when a person buys fake medicine, it is useless in curing his disease and really a waste of money. Sometimes fake medicine can even cause death. In addition, fake commodities are usually sold at a lower price. Thus it causes unfair competition in the market economy and puts the whole society in disorder.

Currently there are a number of fake commodities at markets and superstores throughout China. It is not uncommon if a person has done some shopping, they seem to have bought what they want but actually they get something completely different. Sooner or later a person will find himself or herself cheated because the thing they have bought does not work the way they had expected or it simply falls apart the second or third time it is worn.
The reason for this deceit is that some businessmen want to illegally make high profit at the expense of consumers. They sell goods of poor quality under the cover of a famous brand just to make money. Furthermore, the legal system is far from perfect so there are many illegal peddlers who are not punished and even if they are, the punishment is not very severe. Usually, they go right back to swindling immediately after they serve their respective punishment.
If a consumer purchases faulty goods like clothes or other small commodities,all they lose is money and a little dignity, but some other products, if the quality is poor,can be very harmful and in some cases deadly. It is occasionally reported that a person died from a gas leak in a faulty water heater while taking a bath or that a boiler exploded because of its poor quality, resulting in a number of deaths and injuries. So, it is of great urgency to destroy fake goods and protect people's money and their lives.
