I've finished burning my holiday photos.
對話 Tony: I've just finished burning my holiday photos.
Gordon: What did you do that for? Weren't they any good?
Tony: No, you don't understand, I meant I've just finished burning them on to CD. I can view them on my computer now.
Gordon: I didn't know you could do that.
Tony: Yes, it's dead easy. Come round with some photos of your own and I'll show you how to do it.
Gordon: Great! Thanks a lot. I'm on my way.
I have finished burning my photos on to CD這一句,on to可以改為onto嗎? The cat jumped onto/on to the roof(貓兒跳到屋頂上)。
留意onto和on to有時未必同義。 (1) He walked onto the platform。(2) He walked on to the platform。
(1) Please send the letter on to him(請把信轉(zhuǎn)寄給他)。(2) He went on to criticize me(跟著,他開始批評我)。
With a CD burner, you can burn your favorite songs onto/on to a CD(有光盤燒錄器,就可以把你喜歡的歌曲燒錄到光盤上)。Burning a CD or DVD has never been easier即‘燒錄光盤或數(shù)字多用途光盤,從來沒有像今天那么容易’。(
