課文簡介： 本文主要論述了以下三點：
1.對待用動物來做醫(yī)學實驗的不同觀點。有些人認為動物研究是不必要的，不相關的，甚至是起誤導作用。另一種觀點認為，如果把還沒有在動物身上徹底實驗過的藥物用在人身上，那是完全不負責任和不道德的。用動物來做實驗對現(xiàn)代醫(yī)療科學的發(fā)展起著至關重要的作用。
2.很多科學家一直在致力于減少（Reduction）、改進（Refinement）和代替（Replacement）對動物的實驗。
