G-8 Foreign Ministers Demand Reply from Iran on Nuclear Talks
Foreign ministers from the Group of Eight industrialized nations say they want a "clear and substantive" reply from Iran next week on whether it will take part in nuclear talks. Meeting Thursday in Moscow, the envoys also called on Israel and the Palestinians to take all measures necessary to calm ongoing violence in the Gaza Strip.
U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice urged Palestinian militants to stop attacking Israeli targets, and Israel to exercise restraint in ongoing military operations.
