Management
Hong Kong Baptist University is ranked 111th in the world in the
"Times Higher Education Rankings 2010". The Department of Computer
Science, particularly the database group, is seeking full-time
researchers (postdoc preferred) with strong background in
algorithms and maths to join research projects in the area of
Mobile/Outsourced/Cloud/Privacy Data Management.
The position will be immediately available for one year and
extensible for multiple years based on
performance and availability of funds. The post remains open till
it is filled up.
Montly Salary Range: HK$ 18,000 - 26,000 (US$ 2300 - 3300), with
additional medical benefit. For exceptional applicants, the
remuneration package can be further negotiated. Tax in Hong Kong is
less than 10% for this income level.
