Microsoft Research Asia is recruiting interns for Stars of Tomorrow Internship Program.
微軟亞洲研究院是微軟公司在美國本土之外的基礎(chǔ)科研機(jī)構(gòu)，被美國技術(shù)雜志MIT 《Technology Review》譽為“世界上最火的計算機(jī)實驗室”。 自1998年成立以來，啟動了面向亞太區(qū)高校博士生、碩士生和優(yōu)秀本科生的“明日之星”實習(xí)生項目。該項目由微軟亞洲研究院和國內(nèi)外高校共同執(zhí)行，旨在培養(yǎng)高素質(zhì)的計算機(jī)基礎(chǔ)研究人才。實習(xí)生進(jìn)入微軟亞洲研究院后深入到每個研究小組進(jìn)行為期三個月或更長時間的實習(xí)。截止至2011年9月，已有4000名來自亞太區(qū)高校的學(xué)生到微軟亞洲研究院實習(xí)，平均每年有400個實習(xí)機(jī)會開放給所有的學(xué)生。

Position: Full-time Intern
Group: Internet Media

Work Location: Beijing
Group Overview
Researchers in the Internet Media Group are turning their ideas into reality in areas such as image and video representation, media compression and communication, as well as, computer vision and graphics.
Roles & Responsibilities
The interns will be working with Feng Wu, on applications of three dimensional shape/range measurements. The interns will be required to conduct programming, simulation, and experiment for various research projects, or if capable, conduct mathematical analysis of algorithms and solve new problems.
Required Qualifications:
1.MS/PhD in related technical field and possess the following skills;
2.Background in three dimensional range/shape measurements; three dimension reconstruction;
3.Background in optics, digital speckle, or structured light techniques is a plus;
4.Good programming skills or have related project experience;
5.Good reading, written, and oral English;
6.Good communication skills and excellent teamwork.
7.Can commit at least 6 months internship, can get your advisor’s approval.
