The Axstores has purchasing offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, New Delhi and Bangladesh. The purchasing offices are mainly on purchase business for our shop brands: Ahlens & Lagerhaus for fashion apparel, accessory, & home ware. Also Axstores purchases for Kicks in beauty accessories area. The Axstores is also buying agent for Anttila (Finland) and Designtorget in Sweden. Anttila is a department store in Finland. Designtorget is a brand of chain stores in Sweden, selling a lot of smart & function products with higher quality.
Job Purpose
To provide basic merchandising service to customers, through order coordination and follow-up, to assist in the achievement of division’s business objectives.
Job title: Junior merchandiser ( Intern)
Reporting to: Senior merchandiser
Job Descriptions (all below mentioned must be done under supervision of Senior merchandiser)
Follow up inquiry and ensure order process performance from receipt to shipment
Monitor on order status
Negotiate price
Make approvals according to buying process
Check samples and reject the non-correct samples before sending to customers
Communication with both customers and suppliers to build up relationship
To be involved in the product development and to learn how to do the product development
Support merchandisers on sample measuring, preparing and sending when necessary
Qualifications:
1.Education Level: College or university graduated. (Preferable in
garment and home field or similar qualification)
2.Years of Experience: 0-1 year experiences within the area
3.Language Skills: Good command of Spoken & Written English.
4.Computer Skills: Able to use Microsoft Office Software (Word,
Excel, etc) professionally.
