注意：not的位置是在主語之前。
am I not的縮略形式是不規(guī)則的，為aren′t I。
當(dāng)說話人預(yù)期或希望得到肯定答語時(shí)，常用否定疑問式：
Haven′t you finished yet？
你還沒有結(jié)束嗎？ Don′t you like my new dress？
你不喜歡我的新衣服嗎？
Child：Can′t I stay up till the end of the programme？
孩子：我看完這個(gè)節(jié)目再去睡覺不行嗎？
—I could wait ten minutes．
—Couldn′t you wait a little longer？
—我可以等十分鐘。
—你不能再多等一會(huì)兒嗎？
否定疑問式也可用在反意疑問句中的附加疑問中：
You paid him，didn′t you？
你給他付過錢了，對(duì)嗎？
She would like to come，wouldn′t she？
她想來，是嗎？
