Job Title: Characterization Engineer
Location: Shanghai
Duties:
Evaluate product designs through the use of advanced bench testing equipment; Generate, analyze and create reports of characterization data;
Work with design engineers to define testability requirements to ensure controllability and observability needs are met to support characterization and manufacturing test;
Assure that the characterization methodologies and strategies (production testing &/or characterization) for all assigned products are defined and implemented into characterization plan;
Responsible for developing the design validation and characterization strategies and detailed plans for all assigned products;
Work with design engineers to debug and define optimal characterization/design solutions, based on design objectives;
Work with other division test and char groups to identify possible co-operative opportunities to improve characterization capabilities, etc. and to learn new techniques, approaches etc;
Work with Product Definition Engineers & Product Line Engineers to ensure that DFT requirements are incorporated into new product designs.
Requirements:
Master degree graduated from Electronic or Automation major;
Strong experience in lab with test equipment like oscilloscope, generator, network analyzer etc;
Skill on PCB design and assembly, Proficiency with PCB Design tools;
Familiar with software programming with VB/VC/Labview;
Experience in semiconductor test would be a plus;
Experience and knowledge in IC design would be a plus;
Experience in Logic, Switch, Audio, Power application would be a plus;
Behavioral Qualifications:
Good team work and cooperation awareness required;
Good operational and analytical ability required;
Good command of written and spoken English required;
Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication and presentation skills;
International travel will be required
