You should write I 60200 words neatly on ANSWER SHEET 2. Section II Use of English
    21.[B]?? It ls a matter of choice rather than(a matter)of birth,表示所有格的介詞of不能省略,選[B]。
    23.[A.]?? in one’s name以某人的名義;to one’s name這種搭配不正確;under the name
的名字;in their name中的their指代不明。
    選nationality(國籍,民族)。
    25.[C]?? in可與care組成固定搭配in care of(由…
under the care of指“在…
由句子結(jié)構(gòu)可知這里是一個非限制性定語從句,而先行詞是the、work(of the church).
    33.[D]??疾榍閼B(tài)動詞。
    基督教徒的,填入的代詞應(yīng)當(dāng)指代前文中的many others,因此用to them。
talk談?wù)?,講座(其后不跟不定式);persuade sb.to do stlx指“勸說某人做某事”,符合題意;say說,講(不跟人作賓語,也不跟不定式);convince sb.to do sth.
Section IIIReading Comprehension
    Part A
    Text l
43.[A]。 其中后一句說:...as long as safety measures are observed carefully,表明了進行太空旅行的條件:嚴(yán)格遵守安全措施,故選[A]。
    44.ED]。
    Text 2
47.[A]。 本題理解的關(guān)鍵是該詞后的部分,它補充解釋了該詞的意思:if not to infancy, then at least to a patient’S teens(即便不到嬰兒時期,至少也會到病人的十幾歲時),說明regression指的是一種“倒退,退化”,因此正確答案就是[A]。 有些考生誤選了[B]項,多是因為沒有掌握好選項中inclination(傾向,愛好,傾斜)這個詞。
而在該段第二句又進一步說明:hE continued to listen to the band at full volume for many hour a day(他每天都把音量開到大,持續(xù)聽該樂隊韻音樂數(shù)小時)。
And other studies…gain new talents(其他的研究已經(jīng)表明前顳癡呆癥患者有時會獲得新的才能)。 一處不符;[B]項與第二段第一句中的因果關(guān)系相反;[D]與第五段第一句中…was not seen in any of the Alzheimer’s patients一處不符。
    50.[D]。 Alternatively,the damage…to appreciate certain kinds of music(這一損傷可能選擇性地影響了某些特定的、用于欣賞某些音樂種類的神經(jīng)系統(tǒng))。
    Text 3
    51.[D]。 [A]項與第一段第三句話不符;[B]項與該段第四句話中的 more determined than discouraged不符;[C]項與該段第二句中的the world’s first liver transplant不符;只有[D]項與該段第一句及第四句表達的意思一致。
The problem is that fewer than 20 percent become donors,即器官不足的原因是只有20%的死者成為器官捐贈者,與[B]一致。
    Text 4
57.[A]。細(xì)節(jié)題。文章第二段第一句即指出:we must consider certain facts about geography, history and economiCS而后文也正是從這三個方面來進行說明的,惟一未涉及的是文化方面的原因,因此選[A]。
    Part B
詞匯方面,一是the general和the particular不好翻譯,建議考生按照我們的習(xí)慣說法將其翻譯成“一嘲和“特殊”(或者“個別”);二是a demonstration to the senses不太好理解,應(yīng)當(dāng)根據(jù)上下文來確定其含義。
句子主干是He stated…that…,其中 that引導(dǎo)的是一個賓語從句。 事實上,其中有those一詞,且90vernment and commerce是兩種機構(gòu),據(jù)此可知它修飾的應(yīng)是前面所說的others,它和with educational responsibilities都是 others的后置定語。 詞匯方面,主要是根據(jù)中文習(xí)慣準(zhǔn)確理解和翻譯there should be an orderly presentation of the facts to be learned這個靜態(tài)的there he句型。
詞匯方面,首先是wrote一詞,在此應(yīng)理解成“書面論述”或“在作品中論述”;其次,the need to adjust instruction for all students應(yīng)當(dāng)按照中文習(xí)慣翻譯成一個動賓結(jié)構(gòu),而不宜翻譯成偏正結(jié)構(gòu);再次,anticipate在文中出現(xiàn)了多次,屬于影響考生理解的關(guān)鍵性詞匯——它的本義指“”,但在本文中的基本意思是指某人倡導(dǎo)了某種思想并由后人加以秉承,故翻譯時應(yīng)仔細(xì)斟酌;后,in the area…
    本題考查的是both…and… 在句子結(jié)構(gòu)上,句子主干是Vives anticipated…,而both…and…
句子主于是there were individuals,其前的long before… 在詞匯上,long before指“很早以前”,we claimed our professional identity的意思是我們認(rèn)為自己很專業(yè),麗prepare the way for指“為… Section IVWriting

What a thought-provoking picture it is!It’S true that nowadays many decision-makers tend to put the pursuit of economic profits above all and ignore the environmental protection, just like the mall in the picture. No doubt it is a short-sighted behavior. As we all know,a polluted environment will do US no good in the long run.For example, environmental pollution may cause serious problems, such as contaminated drinking water, food scarcity and loss of biodiversity. These problems require large sums of money to deal with.So it is useless to pursue economic profits at the cost of the environmental pollution. What’S more,if we continue to consume and destroy the limited natural resources just to develop our current economy,in the end we will suffer the disasters caused by ourselves.
Then what should we do?As far as I’m concerned, the economic benefits should be based on theenvironmental protection.Decision-makers should bear in mind that in no case can we destroy theenvironment, which is our home.We should live in harmony with the environment. We should try ourbest tO obtain maximum economic results at minimum costs by protecting the environment andmaintain the sustainable development of economy.
