About The Trainee Program
It’s a brilliant opportunity for Financial Services Trainee to embrace continuous challenges and get in-depth knowledge of the captive finance company and lease industry. You will have the opportunities to cultivate your career interest at the early stage in the financial services business area.
In the 12-month-Trainee Program in 2015 - 2016 we offered, the participant is expected to acquire structured knowledge, to develop necessary skills and to gain experiences in the day-to-day business. The Program provides three Common Week Trainings, mentorship, performance feedback and job rotations in three of the following functional departments within Volvo Financial Services China. The rotation plan will be based on the concrete need of different functions departments and competence match of the individual trainee.
• Sales & Marketing – responsible for dealer relationship management, home visit of customers, and market intelligence information collection and analysis.
• Risk Management - responsible for credit assessment and evaluation, portfolio analysis and management.
• Operations - responsible for processing, monitoring and settlement of loans/lease covering the entire contract management cycle.
• Customer Service Office – responsible for sustained review & evaluation of overdue customer payment situation and overdue days, daily phone collection, potential legal involvement as well as customer care hotline.
• Finance & Accounting - responsible for accounting routine including book keeping, documentation, cash management, tax planning and internal control. Providing timely and accurate financial statements and also financial analysis and planning.
The participant will be exposed to a continuous development platform via mentorship program, on-the-job training, project assignment and cross-function job rotation and self-managed learning.
Experienced professional colleagues will be assigned to and work closely with each participant as the Mentor or Buddy, who creates the challenges and opportunities for learning on the fly in the young and agile organization.
Qualifications
Educational Qualification
• Minimum Bachelor degree, Master degree or MBA as a plus
• Preferably with graduates majoring in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Economics or Management.
• Preferably with graduates who have internship/project experiences in Banks, Leasing companies or MNC
