Good morning ladies and gentlemen, today, I would like to introduce my beloved hometown—Inner Mongolia to all of you. It has been 57 years since the birth of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on May 1st, 1947. Dominated by the Mongolian nationality, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is located on the northern frontier of China. The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region occupies an area of 1.18 million square kilometers and has a population of about 20 million people who represent a score of different nationalities. Every time when people talk about Inner Mongolia, theyll come down to the vast grassland. Yes, the Inner Mongolian prairie area makes up a quarter of the total grassland area of the country. On the boundless expanse of the Inner Mongolian prairie are living numerous sheep, Cattle and horses, on which our Mongolian have lived for generations. That is why the grassland is eulogized as cradle of life. There are two vast grasslands in my hometown—Hulun Buir Grasslands and Xilin Gol Grasslands which are both world-famous regions. People in Inner Mongolia are famous for their bravery, enthusiasm and hospitality. No mater where you are from, as long as you come to a herdsmans house, you will be warmly entertained with roasted whole lamb and milk tea, and whats more, you can also appreciate beautiful Mongolian songs and elegant dances. It is not exaggerating to say Mongolians are born singers and dancers. The moment you set your feet on the grassland areas you will discover it is indeed a real land of songs and dances.
Todays Inner Mongolia still maintains her ethnic characteristics and at the dame time, she tries to keep pace with the development of the modern world. Ordus is a worldwide well-known brand, Yili and Mengniu are both the famous dairy industries, which have greatly improved the living standard of our Mongolian people. And Im sure, our Mongolian people will make great effort to contribute to our hometown. As a college student, I know quite clearly that my mission is to master solid knowledge and one day do good to my beloved hometown.

每當(dāng)人們談到內(nèi)蒙古都會(huì)想到遼闊的草原，是的，內(nèi)蒙古的草原面積占全國(guó)總草原面積的1/4。成群的羊兒，牛兒和馬兒生活在這片無(wú)邊無(wú)際的草原上，是它們養(yǎng)育了世世代代的草原兒女，因此，草原也被贊頌為生命的搖籃。我們的家鄉(xiāng)有兩大世界的草原——呼倫貝爾大草原和錫林郭勒大草原。蒙古族是一個(gè)勇敢、熱情、好客的民族，如果你去到牧民的家里，無(wú)論你來(lái)自哪兒，熱情的牧民都會(huì)用烤全羊和奶茶款待你，同時(shí)，你還可以欣賞到優(yōu)美的蒙古族歌舞。蒙古族人民天生能歌善舞，這一點(diǎn)兒也不夸張，在你踏上草原的那一刻，你就會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)這確實(shí)是一片歌舞的海洋。
今天的內(nèi)蒙古仍然保留著她的民族特色，同時(shí)，她還時(shí)刻緊跟時(shí)代的步伐。鄂爾多斯是聞名世界的知名品牌，伊利和蒙牛兩大乳業(yè)集團(tuán)是內(nèi)蒙古經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展的支柱產(chǎn)業(yè)。我相信，草原人民一定會(huì)繼續(xù)努力為家鄉(xiāng)的發(fā)展做出貢獻(xiàn)，作為一名大學(xué)生，我會(huì)掌握好扎實(shí)的知識(shí)，回報(bào)我可愛(ài)的家鄉(xiāng)。
