My friend could explain what we sawhe could translate what people said because he majoredAboriginal Studies at Queensland University. Whilewas visiting Australia,hopecould also see somethe large cities , such as SydneyMelbourne.
     Ifwentthe United States ,would stay there aboutweek.expectwould start by visiting New YorkS.have heard that New Yorka very exciting city.imagine that there are, lotstourist attractions, thatbuildings are spectacularthatfoodvery varied. Afterhad stayed two or three daysNew York,would flySan Francisco.hopecould stay with my relations who live there andwould visitcityother partsCalifornia.
     Finally,would flyKenya wherewould stayaboutweek. There are three thingswould likedoKenya. First ,hopecould visitcoast becausewould likeseeold Arab citiesenjoybeautiful beaches. Next,would likevisitGame eserve.imaginewild animalsAfrica-lion, elephanthippopotamus- are very excitingbeautiful. Finally,would likevisitMountainsKenya where you can see snowthe Equator.
     If someone offered me this money,would be amazed. Unfortunately,do not think this will ever happen anddoubt ifshall ever visit these countries.

     Ann started work last summer, so she didn't haveholiday.She saved as much as she could and,January, she bookedpackage tripRosas,Spain. She left London airport earlythe norningthe-first SaturdayAugust. She was very excited, as this was her first trip abroad. Duringflight they hadsnack ,when they arrived at Barcelona airport,a special bus was readytake themtheir hotelRosas. The weather was beautifulAnn enjoyedbus trip.
     Athotel, she checked in,then wenther roomchange before dinner. She was just readygo downstairs, when she found that her Spanish money wasn'ther handbag. She carefully lookedall her luggage, but she couldn't find it. All she had wassmall purse with ten English pound notesit!
     Ann foundplacechange her English money. She had very few pesetas,she would be heretwo weeks. On her way backthe hotel, Ann bought some cheese, some breadsome oranges. When she got back, she toldmanager that her doctor had told her noteat Spanish food; she'd just have breakfast each day. This was all right , as she knewpricehotels included breakfast.
     Forresther holiday, Ann swamthe hotel swimming-pool, or laythe beachgotsuntan. She also wentlong walks with onethe other tourists,Scottish girl called Jane. However, whenothers wentinteresting places, she always said she wasn't well. In fact, her holiday wasn't bad, except that she was always hungry. After all,piecefruitlunch,breadcheesesupper isn't very much. . . especially nottwo weeks !
     Latethe afternoontheir last day, AnnJane werethe beach. Jane asked her why she never ate with themthe hotel restaurant. The food was excellent. Ann told her all about her money problems. Jane looked at her forminute,then said, "But didn't you know? The pricethis holiday includes absolutely everything!"

     TRAVEL BOOKS
     There are several ways you can find out aboiitcountriesplaces you wishvisit. You can talkfriends who have travelledthe places. Or you can goseecolour film about them. Or you can read travel books.
     It would seem that there are three kindstravel books. The first are those that givepersonal, subjective accounttravels whichauthor has actually made himself. If they are informativehavegood index then they can be usefulyou when you are planning your traves. The second kind are those books whose purposeto givepurely objective descriptionthingsbe doneseen.
     Ifwell-read, cultured person has written suchbook then iteven more useful. It can be classified asselective guide book. The third kind are those books which are called 'a guide'some place or other. If they are good, they will,additiontheir factual information, give an analysis or an interpretation. Likefirst kind they can be inspiringentertaining. But their primary functionto assist the
    reader who wishesplanthe most practical way.
     Whatever kindtravel book you choose you must make sure thatdoes not describe everything as 'marvellous' , 'fabulous' or 'magical' . You must also note its datepublication because travela very practical affairmany things change quicklythe twen tieth century. Finally, you should make sure thatcontents are well presentedeasyfind.
