一、教材分析
預備篇的主要內(nèi)容為 26 個字母和基本的英語日常用語。教材的編寫主要是幫助那些沒有英語基礎的學生更好地使用本套教材,同時又幫助有一點基礎的學生盡快熟悉教材中的人物,激發(fā)他們的自信心,增強說英語的興趣。
本單元的教學內(nèi)容為:
1.學習Aa--Hh 八個字母。
2.學習八個人名。Alice, Bob, Cindy, Dale, Eric, Frank, Grace, Helen
3.學習打招呼的用語:
Hello!/Good morning!/Good afternoon!/Good evening!
4.學會問候熟識的朋友和應答:
--How are you?
--I’m fine, thanks. How are you?
--I’m OK.
二、教學設計思路
本教材主要是根據(jù)學生的認知特點和學生的實際水平來編寫的,不僅幫助學生學會一些語言基礎知識,更重要的是培養(yǎng)和發(fā)展學生的語言運用能力。每個單元都圍繞一個中心話題來設計不同的任務,讓學生通過“Learn by doing. Learn by using.”來完成。對教師來說,有更大的自由度來靈活運用教材,為自己的學生來量身定做學習方案。 本單元是為初學者準備的入門單元,總體內(nèi)容不多,也不是很難,關鍵是做好一個銜接工作,根據(jù)學生的認知特點和心理特點,通過多樣化的、趣味性的學習活動,讓沒基礎的同學克服心里的畏難情緒,感覺到英語不難又很有趣;讓有基礎的同學更進一步培養(yǎng)起對英語學習的興趣和自信。
三、教學重點
1.認識教材中的人物,熟悉八個名字。
2.字母 Aa-Hh 的教學。
3.打招呼用語:Hello! Good morning. Good afternoon. Good evening.
-- How are you? -- I’m fine, thanks. How are you? -- I’m OK.
4.字母 a,e 在開音節(jié)和閉音節(jié)中的讀音規(guī)則。
四、教學難點
教材中英語人名的學習和大小寫字母的學習及書寫。

六、教學步驟
The first period
Teaching aims:
1.能識別書中的八個人物。
2.學會八個人物的讀音。
3.學會早上打招呼的用語。

2)形容詞:good
3)感嘆詞:hi, hello

Difficulties:
1.八個英語名字的正確發(fā)音。
2.字母A, C, G, H的正確發(fā)音。
Teaching steps:
1.Warming up
①Teacher puts a name card with an English name above and a Chinese name below on
the big desk, then points to the name card and have an introduction.
T: This is my name card. I have a Chinese name ... and I have an English name ...
You can call me ...
②Greet the whole class and help them to say.
Hello, ... ! Good morning, ...!
2.Presentation (呈現(xiàn)新知識)
Teacher shows the photos of the eight persons by playing ppt and helps students to
learn to pronounce the names. Teacher says,Here are some new students. Let’s look
at them and learn their names.(通過幻燈片一個個地出現(xiàn)課文中人物的圖片)
3.Work on 1a(完成 1a)
①Show the picture on page S1 on the PPT. (此步驟不出現(xiàn)問候語)
②Point to the persons and have Ss say their names.
③Say one of the names and have Ss repeat it, and then write it below Boys’names
or Girls’ names in the book.
④Check Ss’answers.
E.g.
T: Li Lei.
S: Yes.(示意學生起立回答問題)
T: Is Frank a boy’s name or a girl’s name?
S: A boy’s name.
T: Right. Sit down, please.
S: Thank you.
4.Presentation (呈現(xiàn)新知識)
Show a picture with Bob and Helen and have Ss guess what Bob would say to Helen.
The answer may be: Hello, Helen! or Good morning, Helen!

5.Work on 1b (完成 1b)
①Play the recording for the first time. Ss only listen.
②Play the recording for the second time. Students listen and repeat.
③Play the recording for the third time. Students look, listen and repeat.
T: Now please open your books to page S1. You can look at the conversations in your
book. Let’s listen and repeat.
6.Work on 1c (完成 1c)
①Have Ss practice reading the conversations in the picture in pairs. Move around
the classroom when Ss are practicing. Give them help if needed.
②Greet Ss using their English names. The other Ss listen, watch and learn.
③Students practice greeting each other. They can use their Chinese names if they
wish. Encourage them to use their English names if they can.
④T: Now I’ll ask some pairs to say your conversation to the class.
7.Homework (課后作業(yè))
①聽讀模仿 1a,并且背誦。要求語音語調(diào)優(yōu)美。
②模仿老師制作的姓名卡,學生在老師給出的英文名字列表中,選出一個名字,制作成卡片,
并學會正確地讀出。
