Automated border clearance
Eligible Chinese tourists can now use Australia’s automated border clearance when arriving into the country, the Australian Border Force said on June 20. The system allows passengers to process their own immigration clearance using ePassports, prior to customs and quarantine checks. The new system is believed to be Australia’s response to the increased number of Chinese visitors.
據(jù)澳大利亞移民及邊境部消息，從6月20日起，持有效電子護照的中國公民可永久使用澳大利亞“智能門”自助系統(tǒng)，在入境時不必排隊辦理人工驗證。由于中國游客數(shù)量不斷增多，澳大利亞方面采用了這套新的系統(tǒng)，加快入關流程。
馬上學：“”指進出入一國海關關境或國境辦理海關規(guī)定手續(xù)后放行。Clearance在此表示“官方許可、批準”之意。
