①fit 與suit可指衣服“合適”或“適合”的意思。fit 指大小、尺寸合體，suit指顏色，花樣或款式適合。
如：The coat fits me well. 這件上衣我穿著很合身。
The colour of the cloth suits a woman at my wife's age. 這布的顏色適合我妻子年齡的婦女穿。
②match多指大小、色調(diào)、形狀、性質(zhì)等方面的搭配。
如：The People's Great Hall and the Historical Museum match the Tian An Men beautifully. 人民大會(huì)堂和歷史博物館與天 安門陪襯得極為優(yōu)美。
