    【篇一】光盤行動(dòng) Clean Your Plate Campaign
On January, 2013, the public started a campaign called Clean Your Plate. This campaign aims to call on people to save food instead of wasting anything on the plates. The main theme of this activity is do not waste any food, starting with me. This campaign was first started from Sina weibo. Just a few days, tens of thousands people in China have joined in this meaningful activity.
In my humble opinion, everybody should join in this campaign. As we all know, the Chinese traditional virtue is to be thrifty even we are live in a better life. According to the latest survey, more than 50 million tons of food is being dumped in China every year. This wasted food can feed about 200 million people for a year. The old generation usually appreciates the leftover, if there is any food in the plate, they will eat them up; while the younger generation will dump the leftovers into the dustbin, they rather spend the money on other food instead of eating leftovers. I think such behavior is not only waste of food and money, but also broadcast the wrong idea that wasting food is acceptable. People should come to realize the importance of saving food. The governments should also take measures to reduce food wastage and encourage people to eat at home. What’s more, people should put an end to the expensive feasts and banquets. I think this campaign should be moving on. Saving food for our offspring is everybody’s responsibility. Even if you’re a wealthy man, you still need to eat up the food on your plate. Waste is not a good habit.
How to live a meaningful life
It maybe our common desires to experience a meaning life, but when it comes to the topic “How to live a meaningful life”, the opinions are divided. In someone’s eyes, they agree that a meaningful life is just a comfortable life which means they can enjoy themselves as possible as they can.
However, personally in my view, if we spend our whole life in pursuing things only for ourselves, we will surely let ourselves down when we look back. There’s an old saying that goes “The greatest use of life is to spend it for something that will outlast it”. I can’t agree more. If there is a way to avoid a disappointed life, it should be to try our best to find meaningful things which can also make contributions to the whole society. Even a single man can make a big difference to the world. Not to mention that everyone get together to bring changes to the society. It’s high time that we took measures to experience a meaning life. What’s more, it’s never too late to start a meaning life. So be yourself, enjoy your happiness and be helpful to others. That’s the meaning life worth living.
My View on Losing Weight
When it comes to the standard of good figure, people have the stereotype, i.e., the slimmer, the better. Just open a fashion magazine, all the super-models are skinny. It seems that only a thin person can look good in a fine dress. So, more and more people, especially young girls, are joining the team of losing weight. However, I think losing weight blindly can lead to negative effects.
On one hand, losing weight blindly can cause eating disorder, low blood sugar and anxiety. Some girls are already in good shape, but they pay too much attention to their outwards appearance and spare no efforts to lose weight. In order to reach this goal, the young girls leave out breakfast; eat a little rice and some fruit at lunch, as to the supper, just few cabbage leaves and several bottles of water. They all forget that human’s body needs enough energy so it can function well. However, these young girls fail to realize this. They refuse to take meats or any other so-called gain-weight food. As a result, their bodies had suffered contortion due to malnutrition. Accord to the research, the person who loses weight improper is more easily getting fracture than others. What’s more, losing weight takes courage and determination. Not every losing weight girl has a strong will. You may hear her say that she wants to lose weight, and later you will see her eating junk-food because she is too hungry. Some of the girls eat nothing in the morning while take lots of food in the afternoon. Such behaviors can lead to eating-disorder. It’s really unwise to do so. On the other hand, doing physical exercise and eating a healthy diet is a wise way to lose weight. Eat three meals a day. Leave out the junk food, such as chocolates, bread which contain trans-fat, soft drinks, and so on. Try to eat more fruit and vegetables. Eating meat is not the main factor of gaining weight, but eating more. Do not follow the trend blindly. You don’t need to suffer from your peers’ pressure just because they tell you that the thinner, the better. But one thing is true, healthy is the beauty.
