It's finally cool today because it rained yesterday! My grandfather and I went for a walk in the square and happened to meet my classmate, so we had fun together on the square. At this moment, we both discovered a strange little bug.
It has a slender body, about one inch long, and is green all over. Its wings are wide and transparent, and its head looks much like the head of a locust, but it is much smaller than the head of a locust. There are two long whiskers on his head, his eyes are bulging and round, and his compound eyes are shining with golden light.
My classmates quietly approached it, grabbed its wings, and wanted to get closer and take a look. I didn't expect this to startle it! It thumped in our hands, broke free from our classmates' hands, fell into the sewer, and disappeared. I quickly ran home, wondering what kind of insect it was? The weather is really hot! The hot sun was scorching the earth. The cicada tirelessly called "hot, hot!" on the tree. After dinner, I took the cooked Corn kernel and went to the pond with my grandma to feed the ducks.
The scenery in the pond is really beautiful! The lotus leaves are green and glossy, like big green umbrellas. The pink lotus flowers also rushed to bloom, some were ready to bloom, some had their petals fully unfolded, and others only revealed a pointed corner. The water in the pond is blue, like a crystal clear gem. All kinds of fish swim around among the lotus leaves, as if playing "hide and seek. A group of lovely ducks play freely on the water.
