題目：
Governments should focus on solving the immediate problems of today rather than on trying tosolve the anticipated problems of the future.
Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statementand explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position,you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain howthese considerations shape your position.
解析：
題干提出觀點(diǎn)：政府應(yīng)集中解決眼前的麻煩而不是試圖解決未來(lái)可能會(huì)遇到的問(wèn)題。
要求對(duì)此觀點(diǎn)表明你的觀點(diǎn)，是同意還是反對(duì)到何種程度，并需要解釋原因。
寫(xiě)文章時(shí)，先清楚闡述急需解決的問(wèn)題和未來(lái)可能出現(xiàn)的問(wèn)題之間的關(guān)系，且一定要從政府這一角度入手，論證為什么你認(rèn)為要先解決當(dāng)前問(wèn)題或者為什么要解決未來(lái)的問(wèn)題等。
思路：
1. 政府急需解決的問(wèn)題有：貧富差距懸殊，環(huán)境污染，失業(yè)率增長(zhǎng)，就業(yè)率過(guò)低，義務(wù)教育得不到落實(shí)等等，這些都是從人民生活實(shí)際出發(fā)，只有解決了這些，才能使得社會(huì)穩(wěn)定，打好根基等。
2. 未來(lái)可能會(huì)出現(xiàn)的問(wèn)題可能是短期內(nèi)無(wú)法準(zhǔn)確預(yù)知的，雖然提前解決是未雨綢繆，但肯定還是先分清輕重緩急，并沒(méi)有解決眼前的問(wèn)題來(lái)的急迫和緊要。
3. 從政府職能出發(fā)：先保障人民生活和基本權(quán)益，才能更好發(fā)展其它方面，比如高科技，軍事等領(lǐng)域。如果不及時(shí)解決immediate problems of today，可能會(huì)引發(fā)更多的anticipated problems of the future，會(huì)導(dǎo)致惡性循環(huán)，這也不是所有人愿意看到的。
