ever，never等詞放在句末表示強(qiáng)調(diào)。

這不是件容易的差事，但我希望他能做到。

4. I’m afraid all my efforts were in vain 點(diǎn)擊發(fā)音.
我擔(dān)心我的努力全白費(fèi)了。
in vain：努力白費(fèi)，徒勞。舉例：
All his father's exhortations were in vain.
他父親的一切勸告都無(wú)效。

6. You’re going too far.
你太過(guò)分了。
太過(guò)分還可以用cross the line來(lái)表示，比如：

另外還有一個(gè)關(guān)于line的很好的短語(yǔ)：bottom line: 底線。
The bottom line is next Tuesday.
最后的底線是下周二。
