The Ministry of Finance has announced it will reduce tariffs on fuel， starting from the 1st of July. There are a total of 33 commodities involved in this tariff cut， mainly energies and raw materials. And tariffs for diesel and aircraft fuel will be reduced to nil.

The July tariff cut represents yet another severe reduction following the tariff slash of 600 commodities earlier this year. This time， tariffs of 33 items will be cut or eliminated， ranging from fuel to textiles. Gasoline and oil will be reduced to 1 percent. Tariffs for diesel and aircraft fuel will be reduced to zero from 6 percent and 9 percent respectively.
