考試形式
考試時間為2.5小時，總共包括10道題，每題10分，總共100分?？碱}分為二部分，一部分為簡答題，另一部分為大答題，沒有選擇題。評分標準不僅是以終結果正確與否給分，也會根據(jù)答題步驟及方式來給分。如果答題步驟或方式過為散亂，即使終結果是正確的也不會給予滿分。
考試范圍
考題內容以高中數(shù)學課程為主包括高中后一年課程內容，包括以下主題：
• Euclidean and analytic geometry 解析幾何
• Trigonometry, including functions, graphs, identities, sine and cosine laws 三角函數(shù)
• Exponential and logarithmic functions 指數(shù)和對數(shù)函數(shù)
• Functional notation 函數(shù)記號
• Systems of equations 方程組
• Polynomials, including relationships involving the roots of quadratic and cubic equations, the remainder theorem 多項式，包括二次求根，三次方程式，余部定理
• Sequences and series 數(shù)列和級數(shù)
• Simple counting problems 簡單計算題
• Properties of numbers 數(shù)字的性質
考試優(yōu)勢
成績優(yōu)秀者不僅可以提高被滑鐵盧大學數(shù)學系和軟件工程系的錄取機率，而且還可以獲得相應的入學獎學金（加元1000—8000不等）。
考試要求
1. 考生允許帶計算器，但計算器是不可編程，不能有圖形顯示的。
2. 考生不允作弊，若發(fā)現(xiàn)有作弊現(xiàn)象，將取消考試資格。
