what time you got up
how you feel when you got up
and explain why you got up early.
I remember, it must have been a couple of years ago, I had to wake up at around 2 am or 3 am for a flight I was taking. I occasionally have to get up at the crack of dawn to go to work, but this was a whole new ball game, I can tell you.
I’m definitely not what you would call a ‘morning person’, so I imagine I wasn’t great company for the other people I was travelling with. It takes me a while to get going in the mornings and I usually like to take my time. On this occasion I still felt half asleep and I was walking around like a zombie, trying to brush my teeth and have a shower. Luckily I had packed the night before, so this saved my some hassle.

The reason for all this madness was that I had booked a flight on a budget airline. They’re able to offer dirt-cheap prices because their flights take off at ridiculously early or late times. On top of this, the airports they fly to are more often than not a long way from a city, so you waste more time travelling to your hotel. I’m not sure the tantalizing value outweighs the inconvenience.
Next time I book a flight I’m sure I’ll be tempted to pay the extra, but in the end. I’ll probably take the cheap option again as I’m quite tight with my money and would prefer to spend it on other things.
